Deviation Actions
You read that right. I haven't been on DA for quite some time. Mostly because of work and cosplay life. And another because my laptop officially decided to no longer accept my pen tablet as a viable input source. No matter what I did, the drivers would not install. So the tablet is no more.
I had some time this evening. So, I logged in to check my messages. After all that time, I had well over 200+ messages in my inbox. While cleaning them out, I saw some really good linearts. One of which was an old-school lineart of the G1 Transformers. It was begging to be colored. Of course, I would ask permission (I worked with the artist on a collab some time ago, so I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue as long as I asked and credited him). But the fact I no longer have a pen tablet makes it near impossible to work on it. I could still do it, but it would take more than twice as long.
I really miss my pen tablet TT-TT

A Little House Cleaning
Over the course of today, I will be doing some house cleaning. I've looked over my deviations and have made the ultimate decision to remove some of them. Don't worry, though. There will be more coming in the future to replace them, as my new pen tablet and graphics software is up and running smoothly now :D
Now I'm Back :D
Got Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 installed on my laptop yesterday. Took me a while to get the hang of it again, as it was a later version than what I had (and because I had been out of practice for well over a year, lol). But I did manage to make some art. I will be uploading it shortly.
I also have a pixiv account as well that I have yet to use. Anyone else used it before? And if so, what is your opinion on it.
Finally...
The new pen tablet installed with no problems. However, it soon led to frustration as my copy of Photoshop CS2 had trouble starting up after the installation. I did everything I could. But alas, it was finally time to move on. Adobe is still making their Photoshop Elements software and I remember it being a really decent alternative. So I downloaded the latest trial version (Adobe Photoshop Elements 13). Other than a small bit of lag when trying to apply a filter to an image, the program seems to be running quite well. I did some testing with it and found that pretty much everything I need is in this program too. And it's under $100 for the f
Making a Return to Making Digital Art
Guess what I picked up today?
A Wacom Intuos Creative pen tablet.
FINALLY. After over a year of not being able to do any digital work, I will be making my return here. I have yet to pick some adequate software, though. My Photoshop is severely outdated (CS2 version). So I'm gonna be looking into Gimpshop, as it is a free alternative and it looks just like the software I am used to using.
See you all soon :D
